Day 3 / Sunday 6 September – Kahului, Maui (BLD)

Today, we sail into the port of Kahului on the island of Maui to begin a 2 day stay at this picturesque island paradise. Maui has a surplus of spectacular & breathtaking beauty. Here, you can experience one of the world’s most scenic drives – the famous Road to Hana!

Day 4 / Monday 7 September – Kahului, Maui (BLD)

Enjoy a second day to explore Kahului. The genuine hospitality of the locals here has made Maui Hawaii’s second most visited island. During your stay, you may wish to discover the history of the town of Lahaina, relax on one of the island’s pristine beaches or play a round of golf at one of the world’s most breathtaking courses.

We depart Kahului later today at about 6.00pm.

Day 5 / Tuesday 8 September – Hilo, Hawaii (BLD)

We arrive in Hilo on the island of Hawaii (also known as the ‘Big Island’) at 8.00am today. Located at the north of the island, Hilo offers breathtaking natural beauty as well as all of the amenities of a vibrant town. The region is blessed with dramatic waterfalls, fertile rainforests & beautiful tropical flowers. The town features well preserved historic buildings which date back to the turn of the century.

Once a busy farming & fishing area, Hilo has evolved into a commercial centre for the sugar industry over time. We set sail from Hilo later today at 6.00pm.

Day 6 / Wednesday 9 September – Kona, Hawaii (BLD)

Today, our cruise sails into Kona, arriving at around 7.00am. Kona is situated on the western side of Hawaii (the ‘Big Island’) and is virtually on the opposite side of Hawaii to Hilo!

Kona has a rich history – King Kamehameha I was the original chief of the area before uniting the Hawaiian islands and becoming the King of all of Hawaii! In the late years, Honolulu has become the capital.

The sights that can be seen at Kona include the original palace and also the famous Kona plantations. Explore the region before our cruise departs at 5.30pm this afternoon.

Day 7 / Thursday 10 September – Nawiliwili, Kauai (BLD)

Paradise on earth! Today, we sail into the port of Nawiliwili on the island of Kauai, arriving at about 8.00am. Captain Cook arrived here in 1778 and noted it as the physical & cultural heart of the island of Kauai.

Kauai is possibly the most beautiful island of the Hawaiian islands. It is also often called the Garden Island due to its amazing tropical rainforest that covers most of the island.

You may wish to join the Pride of America’s specially designed day tour which visits Waipo’o Falls, the Tunnel of Trees, Spouting Horn blowhole & the majestic Waimea Canyon.

Our cruise will be docked at Nawiliwili overnight, giving you more time to explore the island.

Day 8 / Friday 11 September – Nawiliwili & Na Pali Coast, Kauai (BLD)

Enjoy a second day to explore the island of Kauai before we set sail at about 2.00pm.

Later, we cruise past the dramatic cliffs & amazing pinnacles of the Na Pali Coast which have been used as a backdrop for major Hollywood films including Jurrasic World, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tropic Thunder, King Kong, Gilligan’s Island & Blue Hawaii.

Day 9 / Saturday 12 September – Arrive in Honolulu (B)

Sadly, today marks the end of your Pride of America cruise. We arrive in Honolulu at about 7.00am and disembark after breakfast. Here, you will be transferred to your hotel on Waikiki Beach.

The afternoon is at your leisure to explore more of Honolulu – a great time to go shopping at Waikiki!

❱ Hilton Waikiki Beach or similar (2 nights)

Day 10 / Sunday 13 September – Honolulu, Pearl Harbor, USS Arizona Memorial & Luau Dinner (BD)

Your day begins with a tour to Pearl Harbor.

The legacy of Pearl Harbor lives on, with Hawaii playing a critical role during the turn of events that reshaped world history. On this popular narrated tour of Pearl Harbor, the USS Arizona Memorial and other historic Honolulu landmarks, you will explore firsthand what happened on Dec. 7, 1941 and how it greatly impacted the outcome of World War II. The excursion begins at Pearl Harbor to relive the events that unfolded on that fateful Sunday morning in 1941, when U.S. forces at Pearl Harbor came under attack by Japan, catapulting the United States into World War II. A visit by boat to the USS Arizona Memorial then offers a real-time setting for reflecting on the extensive battle that took place, leading to the loss of life of 1,177 of the ships crewmen.

The journey then moves onward to the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, where many of those who fought for their country are buried, and finally past Honolulus most noteworthy historical landmarks, including Iolani Palace, Kawaiahao Church, the Hawaii State Capitol and Honolulu City Hall.

Tonight, take in the rich cultural heritage of the Pacific Islands. Enjoy the spectacular show delivered to you at the ocean’s edge, under the stars and palm trees. Be touched by the magic of ancient Hawaii and its splendor. Feel the touch of Aloha. Experience a Hawaiian Luau like no other and discover why visiting Germaine’s Luau once may not be enough.

Help yourself to a multi-course American Hawaiian Buffet, a combination of traditional Island dishes and continental fare (for the “less adventuresome”)! To quench your thirst, there is everything from fruit punch and soft drinks to Germaine’s special Mai Tai’s and Blue Hawaii’s! Three Premium Drink tickets are included (for any standard or premium alcoholic beverages), choose from a variety of Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Tropical, Blended, and Speciality Beverages that are available. Complimentary soft drinks, Hot Coffee and Hot Tea are available. After dinner the night is filled with beauty, color, and excitement as the multi-talented kane (men) and wahine (women) take everyone on a non-stop, musical journey throughout the islands of Polynesia.

Day 11 / Monday 14 September – Depart Honolulu (BL)

You will be transferred to Honolulu International Airport in time for your flight home.

Day 12 / Tuesday 15 September – Arrive in Australia
