Day 1: Homeport to Broome (D)
Your journey begins with a flight to the beautiful resort town of Broome situated in the northwest corner of Australia. You will be met on arrival at Broome Airport and taken to your resort located on the famous Cable Beach.
Famous for its magnificent white sandy beaches and aqua waters of the Indian ocean, Broome is also known as the Australia’s pearling capital. Enjoy some time at leisure before indulging in a delicious dinner and having the opportunity to experience one of the world’s most amazing sunsets.

Day 2: Broome Sights & Willie Creek Farm Tour (BH)
★ After breakfast, enjoy an interesting day out in Broome as we experience the highlights of this historic pearling town as well as parts of Australia’s most stunning coastline.
Our fascinating tour will take us to stunning Gantheaume Point and the old Japanese Cemetery where the original early pearl divers from Japan now lie in rest.
Visit Pearl Luggers in the heart of Broome’s Chinatown precinct and see a fully rigged & restored pearl lugger surrounded by a replica inter-tidal jetty & tenders store. Hear about the modernising of the industry and see the ‘perfectly imperfect’ Keshi pearl.
★ Indulge in the Pearling Master’s High Tea which incorporates Broome’s historical & cultural influences.
You’ll be treated to a range of delectable sweet & savoury treats as well as tea, coffee or a glass of sparkling wine or cider.
★ Later, we join an award-winning tour at Willie Creek Pearls and learn what makes a perfect pearl.
An enjoyable cruise in the azure waters allows you to view the living oysters suspended in their natural environment among the native flora & fauna. Browse around the showroom and see some of the finest pearls produced before we return to our resort accommodation in Broome.
Day 3: Spectacular Horizontal Falls, BBQ Lunch & Scenic Flight (BL)
After breakfast, enjoy some free time which has been set aside for you to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of this delightful township.
★ Later today, you will be taken to Broome Airport to board a 14-seat turboprop seaplane for a low-level scenic flight over the amazing coastline to Horizontal Falls.
Described by naturalist David Attenborough as one of the ‘Greatest Wonders of the Natural World’, the falls are a must see on any visit to the Kimberley!
★ Experience an exhilarating water landing at Talbot Bay before embarking on an incredible & thrilling ride aboard a fast boat through the amazing Horizontal Falls.
Sit back & relax as you cruise through stunning untouched bays & creeks followed by an opportunity to swim or snorkel in a huge cage, protected from sharks and crocodiles. Head aboard a luxurious houseboat & enjoy a wonderful BBQ lunch which features local fresh barramundi.
★ Later, be sure to have your cameras ready as we embark on the return flight back to Broome, flying over the breathtaking beauty of the Buccaneer Archipelago, Cape Leveque, Lombadina, Beagle Bay, Willie Creek & Cable Beach.
Day 4: Broome to Kununurra (B)
After a relaxing morning, you will be transferred to Broome Airport in time for your flight to Kununurra. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to our hotel for your 2 night stay.

Day 5: Scenic flight over the amazing Bungle Bungles & magical sunset Lake Argyle Cruise (B)
Today begins an amazing day of incredible sights & experiences in Kununurra.
★ Begin our day with a 2 hour scenic flight over the famous Bungle Bungle Ranges, Lake Argyle, the huge Pink Diamond Mine & the Ord River Irrigation area.
You will also see the stunning Carr Boyd Ranges, Osmond Ranges and the Ord & Bow Rivers. The aircraft is an air-conditioned, high-wing airplane which offers comfort, safety & spectacular viewing opportunities.
★ In the early afternoon, you will be taken on a journey to beautiful Lake Argyle.
Sit back & relax as you travel the 70km from Kununurra to stunning Lake Argyle, enjoying commentary from your local experienced driver about the local area, communities & industries. Along the way, we will stop at the Durack Homestead Museum to learn about this pioneering family.
★ On arrival at Lake Argyle, we meet our skipper who will take us on a magical sunset cruise on the lake.
As the old saying goes: ‘red sky at night, sailors delight’ and there is no better way to experience a breathtaking Lake Argyle sunset than out on the water. We explore the rugged northern end of Lake Argyle while navigating through some of the lakes 90 islands & inlets. You will encounter Rock Wallabies, Crocodiles, Wallaroos and an array of birdlife that call Lake Argyle home.
As the sun sets behind the glorious Carr Boyd Rages, enjoy a complimentary drink & light snack to make the most of this magical time. With the rugged red cliffs reflected onto the blue water, catch the last drop of the famous Kimberley sun then return to Kununurra.
Day 6: Kununurra to Darwin (B)
Enjoy some free time this morning to explore Kununurra before you are transferred to the airport for our flight to Darwin. You will be met on arrival in Darwin in the early evening and taken to our hotel.

Day 7: Darwin City Sights & Sunset Dinner Cruise (BD)
★ Enjoy a full day of exploring Darwin with an included hop on / hop off bus pass.
The bus will take you to some of Darwin’s top attractions including the Darwin Waterfront, Stokes Hill Wharf, Crocosaurus Cove, Cullen Bay, Botanical Gardens, Casino, Museum, Art Gallery & Military Museum.
★ This evening, enjoy a wonderful sunset dinner cruise on Darwin Harbour.
Relax aboard the ‘Charles Darwin’, a 25-metre tri-level air-conditioned catamaran as you enjoy a spectacular Top End sunset. Your buffet includes a range of fresh seafood as well as beef, chicken & vegetarian dishes.
Day 8: Darwin to Homeport (B)
Sadly today marks the end of your Kimberley adventure. You will be transferred to Darwin Airport in time for your flight home.

Day 8: Board the Ghan Expedition train, Katherine Gorge (BLD)
You will be transferred to Darwin Railway Station to board the Ghan train for your incredible, one-of-a-kind journey.
A delicious lunch is served as you begin your journey south towards Katherine.
★ Back on board, you’ll return to the Queen Adelaide Restaurant to enjoy a 3-course dinner as the sun sets over the Outback.

Nitmiluk Gorge Cruise: Cruise down Katherine River as the Gorge’s large rock formations tower over the calm water. The sheer walls of the Gorge, etched by time and the elements, are home to a myriad of plant and animal life, much of it unique to this area.
First Gorge Rock Art Cruise: A more relaxed cruise experience. Listen to Dreamtime stories and learn about the significance the Gorge played in the lives of its traditional owners, the Jawoyn people.
Outback Experience: Enjoy a unique window into the real Australian Outback and the inner workings of life on a cattle station through the sharing of stories and experiences, cattle dog demonstrations and live music performances.

Day 9: Alice Springs (BLD)
Wake up to a new view outside your window, in a world which feels like a million miles from home. An Outback sunrise could be one of the most spectacular you’ll ever see, setting the tone for the day ahead.

Alice Explorer: Visit the world’s largest classroom at School of the Air, then learn about the vital medical care provided by the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Then, visit the National Pioneer Women’s Hall of Fame or the Reptile Centre before taking in the views from ANZAC Hill.
Simpsons Gap Walk: One of the most prominent gaps in the stunning West MacDonnell Ranges. Located 18km by sealed road from Alice Springs, it features a permanent waterhole, the towering cliffs of Simpsons Range, and opportunities to spot resident wildlife.
Alice to Off Road Cycling Adventure: Your cycling adventure trail begins at the historical Old Telegraph Station before winding its way around the famous dry Todd River. Cycle along the ochre coloured dirt to a picturesque spot in the sandy river with time to dig for water and soak in this amazing landscape.
This evening, dine beneath a canopy of stars at an authentic Outback Pioneer Dinner.
★ After dessert, cast your eyes skyward and ponder life, the universe and everything with an informative astronomical talk.
With a full belly & sense of wonderment, it’s back on the train to rest up & roll out of Alice Springs, fulfilled in every sense of the word.
Day 10: Coober Pedy (BLD)
Wake up and rub your eyes with disbelief as we pull into Manguri where you will enjoy one of the excursions to Coober Pedy.

Coober Pedy Explorer: Tour the unique town of Coober Pedy and learn about its history, visiting the Serbian Orthodox Church, Umoona Opal Mine, the grassless golf course and the Quest Opal Mine. Travel along The Dog Fence and marvel at the arid scenery of the Breakaways.
Opal Experience: Discover the beauty & history of Australia’s national gemstone at the Umoona Opal Mine, one of Coober Pedy’s original attractions. Explore the underground caverns, hand dug shafts & tunnels featuring a unique underground dugout home and memorabilia.
Majestic Breakaways: This unique arid landscape was once an inland sea and over time has been transformed into a dramatic landscape that changes colour with the passing of the sun creating an almost surreal panorama.
Day 11: Arrive in Adelaide (B)
Witness a dramatic change in landscape as the rich ochre tones of the outback make way for the beautiful green fields and pastoral lands of SA. The Ghan rolls into Adelaide. Interstate travellers will be taken to Adelaide Airport in time for their flight home.
