Board the Popeye and enjoy a cruise on the Torrens River in the heart of Adelaide, travelling past some of Adelaide’s highlights including the Festival Centre, the new SAHMRI building & Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide Oval, beautiful parklands, Adelaide University & more.
Visit the magnificent Adelaide Botanic Gardens after your Torrens River cruise. Here, you will enjoy an informative guided walk, morning tea & a delicious lunch.
Travel south of Adelaide this afternoon to the beautiful McLaren Vale wine region. McLaren Vale is home to sustainable winegrowing, world-class wineries, culinary experiences & pristine natural attractions.
Here, you will visit the amazing D’Arenberg Cube for wine tasting with panoramic views of McLaren Vale.
Return in the late afternoon with some free time before having dinner at your hotel.
Today’s tour will take you to the famous Clare Valley wine region, just north of Adelaide.
Visit historic Clare, South Australia’s oldest country town in the magnificent Clare Valley, a region named after County Clare in Ireland.
See the beautifully crafted historic buildings and visit Bungaree Station to see its Woolshed, Shearer’s Quarters & Stables. Enjoy a delicious Shearer’s Roast Lunch before visiting Sevenhills Cellars to taste their fine table wines.
Travel back to Adelaide in the late afternoon. Dinner tonight is not included – great dining options are available at your hotel or across the road at the Adelaide Casino.
This morning, enjoy a tour through the picturesque Adelaide Hills to the historic River Port of Mannum.
Board a one & a half hour cruise – a wonderful way to enjoy the changing river bank scenery, cliffs & wildlife along the river. Morning tea is provided during your scenic cruise.
Discover a backdrop like no other in the historic river port of Mannum – just 80km from Adelaide. Visit the Paddlesteamer Museum on the amazing antique PS Marion and enjoy lunch at the Mannum Community Club.
Later, tour to Goolwa where the Murray River ends its journey before visiting the seaside resort of Victor Harbor and discovering why this beautiful town on the Fleurieu has been the summer holiday choice for generations of South Australians.
Return to Adelaide later this afternoon. Dinner is included at your hotel tonight.
Today, we set off for the beautiful Yorke Peninsula. Travel via Port Wakefield then across to Kadina, the main town of the Copper Triangle. See why the region is also collectively known as Australia’s Little Cornwall due to the large settlement of Cornish miners who lived in the region.
Discover Moonta’s beautifully built historic buildings from the early copper mining days before travelling to picturesque Moonta Bay.
Visit Wallaroo for a look into the town’s early shipping days and stop at the interesting Nautical Museum. Once a Post Office, the museum houses extensive displays of the copper smelting era.
Return back to Adelaide for dinner, which is at your leisure. We recommend taking a short tram ride to the popular Gouger Street restaurant precinct or to Glenelg.
Today is spent exploring the picturesque Adelaide Hills. Visit the Jurlique Farm – a truly fascinating experience. See how the biodynamic skin care products are made first hand, including seed propogation, herb growing and drying.
At the end of your tour, visit Jurlique Farm’s retail shop where you can purchase a range of exclusive products that are only available to participants of the Farm Tour.
Stop in the historic town of Hahndorf, Australia’s oldest surviving German settlement. Explore architecturally fascinating buildings, appreciate rich ancestry and unearth ancient folklore.
Let loose at the Melba’s Factory where you can watch your favourite confectionery being made. Taste old favourites and be tempted by the constant aroma of chocolate & confectionery.
Ask your tour guide for suggestions for dinner tonight. Late night shopping (until 9pm) is also available in Adelaide’s city centre tonight.
After breakfast, enjoy some time at leisure to explore the city of Adelaide. You may wish to take the tram to the famous Adelaide Central Market, a market renowned for its produce.
Alternatively, you may wish to join a tour of the world-famous Adelaide Oval (additional cost applies, ask us for details).
Later today, it’s time to say farewell as you are transferred to Adelaide Airport in time for your onward holiday.
